Sunday is Valentine’s Day and I have a powerful prophetic NOW word to share with you from the book of Ruth called The Romance of Redemption! The book of Ruth serves several purposes for us in our journey of faith. The book of Ruth connects the period of time known as The Judges with the Kings of Israel (It was a time of transition). The book of Ruth introduces us to King David (before he was born)! And the book of Ruth also provides us with profound Prophetic Revelation through biblical TYPES and SHADOWS! For example, Naomi is Israel, Ruth is the Church and Boaz is Jesus, but there is so much more for us to glean from chapters 2-4! How do we know there is more to glean from types and shadows in the Old Testament? In John 5:39 Jesus said, “you search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that TESTIFY about Me!” He was referring to hidden or veiled truths about Himself in the Old Testament. In Luke 24:27 Jesus, began with the writings of Moses and with all the prophets, and He explained to the two disciples the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures! Again, Jesus was removing the veil, pulling back the prophetic layers and revealing astonishing truths in the Old Testament about Himself to these New Testament disciples. And after receiving the revelation about Jesus in the Old Testament types and shadows, they said to each other, “were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?” I hope Holy Spirit will pull back the layers of prophetic truth and allow our hearts to burn while He explains the Scriptures to us!

 Update:

I am scheduled to have my other knee replaced Tuesday, February 16th, as a result, we will not be able to complete our study of the book of Ruth through our small groups. However, I have revised my pulpit schedule and I will preach through the book of Ruth in the next two weeks in our spirit and truth worship services on Sunday’s at 10:30am! This Sunday we will examine chapter one and lay The Historical Context For The Book Of Ruth! On Sunday, February 14th, I will preach chapters 2-4 and address The Prophetic Layers within the book of Ruth! For example, Naomi is a prophetic picture of the nation Israel, Ruth is a prophetic picture of the Church and Boaz is a prophetic picture of Christ our Kinsman Redeemer! You will not want to miss these next two weeks as we explore The Romance of Redemption through the book of Ruth!

 The book of Ruth is one of only two books in the Bible named after women. The two books are Ruth and Esther and form an interesting contrast. Esther is a courageous Jew who marries a Gentile, Ruth is a courageous Gentile who marries a Jew! Esther begins with a Feast and ends with a Funeral, while Ruth begins with a Funeral and ends with a Feast!

I have a powerful prophetic NOW word to share with you called “Are You A Dreamer?” We will explore some of the prophetic and practical things God reveals to us about DREAMS and VISIONS and how you can become a DREAMER in 2021!

On January 13, 1984, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed that January 22 would be the first National Sanctity of Human Life day. January 22nd is the anniversary of the fatal and in my opinion, flawed Supreme Court decision to legalize abortion on demand in the United States in 1973. Since that fatal decision, over 61 million babies have been aborted in the womb, yes, more than 61 MILLION innocent lives have been terminated in the womb!

Please remember this, respect for ALL human life begins with respect for life inside the womb (Genesis 1:26-27; Psalm 139). When respect for life is diminished inside the womb, it results in devaluing the sanctity of human life outside the womb! The good news is that abortions have been on the decline in recent years. From 1975 through 2012 there were an average of 1.5 MILLION abortions every year, in 2019 there were 862,320 abortions. While we are thankful for the decline in abortions, (lowest since 1973), we need to be alarmed that so many innocent lives have been denied personhood and protection in this abortion culture. Think about it from this perspective, tragically there have been over 406,000 individuals die with and or from COVID 19 in the past year. As tragic as this is, the total number of these deaths (406,000 and rising daily), is less than half the number of babies that were aborted in the same period of time (862,320 and rising daily), but who is giving a voice to their protection and defense? If we do not value the innocent life in the womb, it will not be long before we dismiss the value of the elderly and infirmed outside of the womb!

There is a prophetic dimension to the national and global abortion culture that does not value human life inside the womb. Jesus describes the end of the age global culture that will precede His Second Coming as lawlessness increasing resulting in most people’s LOVE growing cold (Matthew 24:12). It is a loveless culture that embraces terminating innocent life inside the womb, but we who are twice born men and women have been given the assignment of preaching the gospel of the kingdom to a once born world! 

Whenever a person is twice born, the renewing of the mind will result in being transformed from the influence of the spirit of antichrist upon the world that we live in (Romans 12:1-2). The spirit of antichrist promotes the agenda of Satan which is to steal, kill and destroy, but Christ has come so that we can have LIFE and all of the abundance Christ has to offer (John 10:10)!

I have a powerful prophetic NOW word to release to you this Sunday at 10:30am, and I believe you will be strengthened and encouraged to go forward into your New Season! As a reminder, TIME is a fallen thing that is void of the supernatural (Presence of God), and occasionally it feels as if we are prisoners being held captive while we are doing our time! However, the Word of the Lord says to us, Behold, the former things have come to pass, Now I DECLARE NEW THINGS—before they spring forth I proclaim them to YOU (Isaiah 42:9). Time is a fallen thing but a SEASON is a SET period IN time that is marked by a SUDDEN intervention with the Presence of God, resulting in healings, miracles and divine appointments! Well Gory!

This Sunday I will share with you MISTAKES TO AVOID WHILE ENTERING YOUR NEW SEASON! So, please do your best to join us in person on campus, through our website and or Facebook Live at 10:30am!
